Senior pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of customer service.
• Provide accurate dispensing of prescriptions, compound medications, and provide pharmacological information to a diverse patient base.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Conduct medication therapy management and patient counseling to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving pharmaceutical supplies, to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastages.
• Implement and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures in the pharmacy.
• Stay abreast of advancements in pharmaceutical medicine, including new drugs, therapies, and regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction and trust.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, and evaluate the quality of drugs and health care services.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required.
• Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
• Proven track record of effectively managing pharmacy operations and leading a team.
• Strong understanding of medication administration, pharmaceutical dosage, and medication interactions.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and efficient customer service.
• Proficient in using pharmacy information systems and software.
